Suppliers send price increases as PDFs and spreadsheets, often more than once a year. Someone has to match every part number and key every new cost. Until that's done, your invoices carry the new cost while your quotes and margin reports use the old one.
Part numbers don't match
The supplier lists 10120601. Your system has MSA-10120601. Multiply that by thousands of lines.
Packs and units differ
The supplier prices a box of 10. You stock each. One missed conversion puts a cost in your system ten times too high.

If the first 90 days don't find at least three times my fee in increases you didn't pass on, the next 90 days are free. You send every supplier file and your item export.
